At least once or twice a week I get simplified sleep data rather than sleep stages. I rarely let the Charge 2 battery level get below 20/25% so I don’t think it’s critically low, and I get heart rate data all night, so it’s clearly being worn correctly for the sensor to work.
Anybody else notice this / got a fix for this?
Thanks!

Hello @LondonSi72, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that
the Fitbit app currently has in-app error notifications that provide an explanation for why you aren't receiving Sleep Stages on any given night. Keep in mind that not only the heart rate is taken in account when calculating Sleep Stages, the error messages are the following:
When you tap on Learn more, you will be able to get more information about why your tracker didn't record sleep stages. Additionally, I'd like to suggest the following:
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

Hi MarcoG,
Thanks for your reply. I did see the error message. It says the Fitbit couldn’t get a consistent heart rate. The thing is - the heart rate log for the same period I was sleeping has no gaps at all, suggesting there was no problem reading the sensor. Does the Fitbit show heart rate readings it has calculated for periods it can’t read my actual heart rate?
It’s just inconsistent.
Thanks,
Si
