Unfortunately my app thinks that I'm a woman. All the benchmarks that I am receiving are for woman, when my profile gender is set at 'male'. Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance 🙂

Hello @scarlson42 and @Damoe213, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Usually this situation happens when the gender is not selected when creating the account. In this case I would like to suggest you to go to your personal settings in the online Dashboard and check that your gender has been selected in here. If it's already set to male, change it to female, then scroll down and hit Submit. Change it back to male and hit Submit again.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

I tried this solution three times, and it did not work. The Fitbit main screen on my Android smartphone is tracking "women's health" and I'm a man. Using my phone, I clicked the personal settings link in @MarcoGFitbit's reply. Those settings were correctly set to Male. I clicked Female and Submit. Then I logged out of my Fitbit app and logged back in. The app still showed "women's health."

@ritcheymt I apologize if I am misunderstanding what you are reporting. Are you taking about the Female Health tile? The icon is a red drop and it says Tracking and trends. If I am correct, then that tile appears to be part of the app display as it is downloaded. It is very easy to remove the tile. Just tap on the Edit button and remove the tile. If I am incorrect, can you post a screenshot?
The OP used the term "benchmark", which Fitbit uses in the sleep analysis. From time to time, users post that they are getting the wrong sex benchmark in sleep data. When you mentioned the dashboard, I thought of the Female Health tracking.

I have this problem also. The mentioned solution did not work for me.
Logged out from the app in my phone. Logged in to my account on my PC and via the "personal settings" link above.
Changed from male to female and submitted, then changed it back to male and submitted again.
Logged back into the app on my phone. Still says "good for women your age" when it comes to heart-monitoring.
I even tried logging out from my account page between submitting male to female and female back to male.
Didn't work.
I also tried empty the cache-memory on the app in my phone before logging in again, didn't help.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Happydust.
Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue. I appreciate your troubleshooting efforts and would like to confirm if your Fitbit app is in English or in a different language? If it's in a different language, have your tried to change it to English to see if the issue persists?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
