HELP - how can i export all my logs via my iphone app?

after some wonky new software bug was released by Fitbit on 1/13, I am no longer able to be logged in to both the desktop client and IOS - it's one or the other even when my tracker is only in range of one of the 2 devices.

 

For unknown reasons when I sync my tracker with my desktop it doesn't pick up any data before 4pm pacific on 1/13 - but my ios app/data is all there (and from November, when I started using Fitbit).

 

How can i export my logs from the iphone app into a csv or xls file so I can reimport them to the desktop client?

 

And why am I suddely able to attach my tracker only to EITHER the ios app or the desktop app (desktop is for Mac btw)?

Hello @andi_seattle,

 

Honestly, I haven't seen any glitches on the Fitbit site or service from yesterday.  What I suspect happened is that you have accidentally created two accounts and are logging on to one on the desktop and the other on your phone.

 

By any chance did you recently get a new phone (or desktop) and/or reinstall the Fitbit App?  If you did, did you select "Log in" or "Join Fitbit".  If you selected the latter, you created two accounts.

 

Go to your settings on your desktop and check your e-mail, go to your account on the Fitbit App and make sure it's the same.  I'm guessing that they're not.  Decide which one you want to keep, log out of the one you don't (desktop or phone) and log in to the account you want.  Make sure to pair your Fitbit with that account.

 

Though you answer your original question.  Yes, you can export your Fitbit data through here, but you can't import it into the "desktop" app.  I assume that you mean the "desktop" app is merely the Fitbit dashboard.
