With the latest iOS update  4.3, the heart rate number is not displaying in the heart tile. The darkened circle and the dot in the circle indicates that there is live data.

I removed and reinstalled the app but still not showing. However it does display in the Resting Heart Rate tile.

For three days the bpm has not been showing on the app screen. I have tried uninstalling the app resetting the Bluetooth agreeing to the Google account, restarting the Fitbit and nothing works. I’m on an iPhone OS 17.1. it Shows on the Fitbit itself, but not on the app. This needs to be fixed it’s really annoying. Please see photos attached

Just got an email from support telling me to use the”discover” tab.  Not helpful since the ‘discover’ tab is no longer a part of the app. Frustrating to say the least.

I see that others have complained about the new app not having Charge 5 battery level percentage, so I will skip that.

I also see others have begged for a weather feature, so I will skip that, too.

However, the most important metric to me is resting heart rate. Recently, my Fitbit app has started to occasionally show a heart beat range (presumably for the day?) instead of the current RHR. The range value is meaningless to me. It doesn't happen often, and I can discern no pattern.

Is this normal behavior?

Thanks,

Data

Hello, @DataJack Welcome to the community.

Thanks for letting me know about the situation with the battery level and weather feature, we have this checked already and are working on that. Regarding the resting heart rate in your Charge 5, you actually need to enable this feature, you can follow these steps:

- Tap the Today tab then croll down and go to Health Metrics .
- In here, you will be asked to enable to see a graph of your resting heart rate and some other features.
- Once you have done it, you will be able to see them whenever you go to your Health Metrics.

I hope this information finds you well, you can check more information about this here.

Hello,

Forgive me for not being clear. This feature has obviously already been enabled, as I have been using it for many years with the prior UI, and many months with the "updated" UI. Only in the last few days has it *occasionally* began to show a range for BPM instead of the current value. It seems to fluctuate between displaying the current heart rate, and the (useless) range for an unspecified period of time.

Data.

@DataJack   Do you use an Android or iPhone?  What version of the Fitbit app do you have?  There is a new bug in version 4.03 of the iOS app.

Hi

I am having same issue as Criterion. My iphone 8 is not showing bpm. I have since last update been using one of the "Choose Focus" pages, but just today the bpm figure is blank and just showing _  . You get the icon with what appears to be black dot movement around on the blue line, BUT NO FIGURE APPEARS. My sense 2 watch does show the live bpm, but does not appear on my iphone 8 running Version 20001.184.52.

Please can you help

Hi Crition

I have an iPhone and charge 5- for past several days dashboard doesn’t show my heart rate range. If I click on it the heart rate data screen will show heart rate- but that defeats the purpose of having it right on the dashboard.

i don’t like the new heart rate range, by the way. I just want to see current heart rate, not range.

The heart rate graphic on my "HomePage" shows the graphic representation of my current heart rate, but the number value is missing - it's a dash. This just happened. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps. Uninstall the app, reboot the iphone, reboot the Versa2, turn off bluetooth and turn it back on. I've done all these steps multiple times and in every imagineable sequence, all to no avail. The watch and the IOS are both up to date. The heart rate data is all there; it's just missing the number under the heart graphic.

Hello @Kmgrx

I'm not sure why you're not seeing your heart rate on the Today page. Hopefully, someone who is an iOS user will come and provide suggestions.

Regarding the real time heart rate, there's a feature request in the Product Feedback forum to Restore real time heart rate indicator on Fitbit app (<-- click link) where you can vote and add your comments. Many of us are hoping that this important metric will be restored soon.
