My Alta HR tracks my heart rate but when I look on dashboard on my phone it doesn’t show up, however when I go into it it it there, why is it not showing on the dashboard screen,

I'm sorry to hear that you're not being able to see your heart rate on your dashboard screen. I'd like to help you out with this.
Now, I'd just like to make sure. Does this mean that you're not able to see your live heart rate on your heart rate tile on your phone? If that's the case, can you not see the heart rate tile or is it that it does appear there but will display no number or two dashes like if it is not being recorded?
I'll be looking forward for your reply to be able to help you out with this.

Hi, I can see my heart rate on my Fitbit but not on the tile on dashboard
but it does record it as when I click on the tile it shows me my heart rate
for every day all day
UPDATE:
I’m my phone dashboard it shows as 2 dashes like it’s not recording, but when I tap to open the tile it is all there for every day all day

Hello @Lindarobbo, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I appreciate you have come back and provided the information requested. Please note that your live heart rate will appear in the HR tile once your Fitbit device has finished syncing and is showing as connected. If this is not happening, restart your device, then sync it again. Additionally, make sure your device is showing as "connected" in the Bluetooth settings of your phone. For it to appear on this list, set up Notifications (Account > Your Device > Notifications) or All-day Sync (Account > Your Device). This will prompt a pop-up to appear. When the pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.
