I have read troubleshooting - and I have updated my phone restarted it - cancelled all background app refreshes - turned Bluetooth off then back on? I'm not sure what else I am supposed to do? I only got this for Mother's Day 😩 Ps I have a flex and use an iPhone 5c thanks in advance for any help

You didn't mention trying a restart of your fitbit using this procedure: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
If you did try it, how many times did you try? It's known to not always work and it's recommended to try it at least 3 times.
