Hey guys! So I got my first fitbit yesterday for my birthday!! I'm trying to figure out how accurate the step count is while I'm riding my horse. In my log it says that I took about 3k steps during my 45min ride. I know if it was counting my horses steps it would have been a lot higher. So I'm wondering if it knows my posting and counts that as steps??

Welcome to the forums!

Horse back riding is not step related. Using a wrist model will not count the horses steps accurately either.

I would just let it record the steps as is. And then Manually enter horseback riding. I do not think it will add steps. But if it does I would delete the record
