How do I change a group's privacy settings for a Group created on the app?

I recently created a Group using the feature on the app, and it was automatically made a "Closed" group. Nowhere can I find how to change this setting within the admin edit options. How can I make this an open group so members can find and join?

I’d be happy if I could just share a link to my work related Fitbit group in work related Fb groups as I don’t have all the employees on my Fitbit

Doesn't make a community kind of closed off? I would think it should be up to the administrator of that group to make it either open or closed. I don't currently have a lot of real friends on Fitbit and I started this group for people with chronic pain and nobody who fits that criteria can find me. Bummer I guess I need to delete the group.

Well if I'm reading it correctly you can't Fitbit will not allow that. If you decide to make a group that Fitbit has not created then it is only for you and anybody you decide to invite into the group. It is not searchable. Which, is a really stupid! And is not a community!

My friend has lost my invite, and as l have already invited her l cannot resend, how can l overcome this

It’s pretty simple but not obvious. 
You need to block your friend, once that’s done. 
next you unblock them, as you try to unblock them, watch for the send invite (prompt), when presented Send invite (will send a new request/invite) to your friend.
