That’s what mine said too. Very creepy!
@Robbievee have you reported the message and blocked the user.
Are these messages found here?
Users have found by using an picture of not them has reduced this type of contact.
That is why mine is of the unicycle, but ocaisionly I still get a creepy lady contact me. Report and Block User.
Best AnswerWorse than that. I can’t access the conversation. It says view only. Weird or what!
Best AnswerI’ll have to do this as I keep getting friend requests.
Best AnswerHow do I do I that?
Best AnswerDude...not sure if you are from Fitbit or not, but, your advice does not solve the problem...puts a bandaid on the issue. Tell the community how can we remove old messages, pictures, etc. from our messages within our phones. Very frustrating...this has been going on for a long time...an Android and an Apple...both performed the same way.
Rich_Laue...not sure you are reading all of the posts, but, you need to. Also not sure how you got to be a "Legend"...you've not solved one persons questions.
The app simply needs a simple delete button...its a Fitbit coding issue.
OIf people want me to read a message than they need to tag me. If your wondering about the legend about your jogger, you can easily tap on the link.
As for these messages, there are two different types being mentioned. Public ones, which we all know are not removable by the user and they are supposed to disappear after 30 days. As your well aware, no one in this community is able to tell a user how to delete these.
As for private messages they should be reported and easily delectable the user sending them can be easily blocked. I do this at least once a month. When a message is reported, it gets reviewed and if needed the sender gets a pm about the message. If this user gets reported more they will eventually get banned, this includes their IP.
When I'm addressing one post, that has hijacked the conversation, @Paulsaint. you are right I will not be helping those with the problem we all know has no user fix.
Everything you need to know about my relation with Fitbit and what your jogger status or legend or recovery runner are easily to understand
Tap on the Community Council Icon and
Best AnswerIt shows under "messages". It never goes away and the only option is to reply to it which I did over a year ago when it came in.
Best AnswerNo I only reported that the message wont delete. I dont want to block the person...they are a friend of mine.
