Does anyone know how I get the old dashboard back on my iOS app? I don’t have automatic updates turned on so I don’t know how this has happened? The new dashboard is not user friendly and set out very poorly

I can't believe you can switch back that's so stupid.. at least give people the options to choose which one.

You didn't know what the new dashboard would look like until you installed it and there's no message telling you you can't go back to the old dashboard, it's total bull.

I agree with everyone here. The new Fitbit app is absolutely terrible. I give it a 0/10 on user friendliness and overall design. Who designed your new app? I’m ready to go back to the old design. There needs to be an option for all the people that hate this new layout. I think it’s time to start looking at Garmin watches now.

Welcome to the echo chamber. New dashboard looks fine, but functionality isn’t there. Last one was loads better.

I know , Iam still fuming about it . 😤Wheni had contact with Fitbit , they just said , the new interface is going to be rolled out regardless and it will never change back . I simply cannot understand why they thought the new one was better?  . Extremely bad decision 😡

FITBIT REATORE THE OLD DASHBOARD!!!

I also can no longer see my heart rate nor is it an option for me and I use my Fitbit to track my heart rate as I recover from a heart condition.

It has removed my heart-rate, steps sleep any a few more just there when I synced my Fitbit!!! What good is it now only showing my calories for the day

Was finally able to load old information but app keeps loading incorrectly. It’s there but so are a lot of bugs. I’ll give it a few days to see if it resolves and is functional overall.

I understand that everything must change so that it can get better, but this update has drastically taken this app backwards!  I loved being able to edit and see what I wanted without having to click three times to now see that same screen!  It is not user friendly. It forces you to look at a list which most people hate and it forces unnecessary clicks for no reason.  It was much better to have the things I wanted displayed with visibly aesthetic tiles on the dashboard, so that if I wanted more information, I could click further.  I liked being able to see my hourly step bubbles light up and now its is ugly little dashes that blend into the background.  To see that same screen I loved, I have click three times to go find it. Not convenient or user friendly at all.

Please consider going back to the look of the old dashboard or at least give people the option to go back and monitor how many users do just that.  I think you will be surprised just how many people preferred the old dashboard compared to this new one.  You will defiantly be losing me as a customer if I am not able to use the app the way I want to anymore.  It makes it useless for people if they don't enjoy the experience.  Just a suggestion.

Adding to the thread of replies in the hopes of  Fitbit listening to the vox populi - the new dashboard layout is terrible. It shows way less information than before at a glance, and makes the app much less user friendly.

Good software was one of the factors which made me hang on to Fitbit, but now they’ve taken away that as well.

If anyone figures out literally any way to go back to the old dashboard, I’d love to try it. Please let me know!

Same here, I thought it said I could change it back! Really don’t like this new look

I regret change my app interface to new design... its so simple, not attractive and it defeats the purpose of user friendly.

Please fitbit give option to go back to previous layout

Hello,I am willing to try out developers new interfaces, but I do not like this approach, stuck with it and no solution if not a good interface. This decision was bad for customers (forcing change on them), and a better option would be a switch in options until user can judge if they like it or not, but even if time based evaluation, say 30 days would have been smarter. The only thing that came from this approach are complaints, major customer dissatisfaction and erosion of trust for any future change. Bad company move in such a competitive market and with personalized expectation from your customers!!!

This is a real shame (ie cannot revert to the old look dash board) as the new dashboard is abysmal.

I shall never get used it - as has been suggested on the community board AND really why would I want to or be expected to get used to an inferior dashboard!

I cannot think what the developers were thinking! I always thought the point of developers was to create a better experience and not an inferior one.

What happened to the motto - “If it’s not broken don’t fix it” - well now it’s broken, well done!

I think I’ll just scrap my Fitbit and rely on mycellular Apple Watch.

I will never recommend Fitbit to anyone now as the new look dashboard is just so dreadful.

Most companies test this sort of thing out on users I can’t believe anyone thought this was progress. Also most stuff allows you to revert.

A very unhappy user.

Hi everyone, thanks for participating in this thread. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

I appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the new dashboard. I understand where are you coming from about this experience, and I'm sorry that you've had an inconvenience with it. Our team worked on the Fitbit app to improve it based on our users feedback, and I'm sure your comments will not go unnoticed. While there isn't an option to revert to the old dashboard, we'll keep working on our products and services.

Feel free to reply back if you have another question.

When you are making major changes to the user interface, I suggest you ask a good subset of users to review themSent from my Samsung Mobile on the Telstra Mobile Network
