When I scan a food and I hit save on my I phone 6 the screen is locked and wont go back I have to turn the phone off and back on to enter another food

Hi @wadewi. To the best of my knowledge, this feature only works with U.S. food items. Are you in the United States?

@wadewi I'd recommend double checking your iOS settings to make sure that you've given the Fitbit App permission to use your camera. Next, I'd recommend reading our Food Scanning FAQ for more information about how food scanning works.

@wadewi Thanks for the quick followup. I would recommend the following steps:
1. Reboot your iOS device.
2. Log out and then log back in to the Fitbit App.
3. Experiment with closing background apps while food scanning. You can force close by: rapidly double tapping your iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the App that you want to close > and swipe up on the preview.
4. Also double check to make sure that you are connected to the internet either through WiFi or Mobile Data.
