If I can't find a way to delete the notifications from my phone I will be forced to delete the device and lose all of my data from my I phone. I don't want to lose that data

Hello @Wmvann, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Currently Notifications shown in the Fitbit app can't be deleted. If you like to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app; don't worry, the information already stored in your account won't be deleted as it's stored in our servers, once you log in to the app again you will be able to see it. However, I would like to suggest you to please sync your tracker first before uninstalling the app.
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

If stopping the notifications on your iPhone is enough, then please try this, @Wmvann.
On your iPhone, go to Settings --> Notifications. Scroll down to Fitbit and turn notifications to OFF. That is how I have mine set up. If I want to read the notifications on the Fitbit server, I can simply open the Fitbit app and tap the Notifications icon at the bottom, right.
Hope this helps.

@Wmvann There is a Feature Suggestion asking for a way to delete these notifications from within the app. Please vote and comment using the link.
One user said that they were supposed to disappear after three months -- but that doesn't happen as I have one from April. I am doing my best to ignore them until my Feature Suggestion is acted on.
