How to remove in-app Notifications?

I have a month old notification that just popped up in my app again and I can’t get it to go away or be marked as read. So the notification icon on my dashboard has a red dot saying I have a new notification. Tried updating and restarting the app. No success. On iPhone 6s.

Thanks for reporting this to me and for letting me know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. I understand that you would like to delete the notifications shown inside the Fitbit app but at this moment it's not possible to do it, as you're mentioning this is an old Notification that has recently popped up again I would like to ask you for a screenshot of the Notification so I can check this further.
