Why is fitbit unable to improve its app functionality? I have now started using Runtastic pro app because its got all the tracking and analytics expected of a fitness app. The part that puzzles me is that all this data is being collected by fitbit but the developers lack vision on how to use it. Learn from others. Probably will need to move to Runtastic's wrist watch.

Marco, i was expecting a real answer that addressed my issue and not a generic thank you for your post response.

The reason you got such a response is because you really didn't complain about any issue you have. You are just saying that you don't like the way the app works and so it was suggested to go to the suggested features section of the site instead of the community forums for help.

Thats not totally true. I gave you a reference to the runtastic app and how it records all the vital information for running. Have you reviewed the app? My point was that the fitbit app lack understanding of how we use the product and an effort to evolve it for the user.

Again, you're not listing anything specific.

What key thing are you looking for that is so "vital" for running? I have personally used Runtastic Pro, Strava, Nike+ Running, Runkeeper, MapMyRun, Endomodo, and of course now Fitbit.

Fitbit tells all the usual characteristics that the other apps do as far as I am aware. It gives, average pace, last mile / lap pace, current time, distance, and a map.
