I really don’t like the new dashboard

I did not want to use this new dashboard yet I’ve had it imposed on me - why?

i do not agree it’s better, it’s not, it’s less inspirational and is insipid.

For several months while the new version was being rolled out we were given options to accept the new format or temporarily decline. It seems the rollout finished last week and fitbit have now removed the option to decline, switching all of us onto the new design via a change on the servers.

Yes, thanks, I do remember declining the new dashboard. I had a preview of it when setting up my husband’s new device and had a chance to compare the new with the old. What I don’t get is the reason why we couldn’t retain the old version. All the information appears to be the same. If it’s just down to how it’s presented why did we need to change?

I guess fitbit don't want to have to maintain more than one version and they see the new design as an improvement (I know there are those that would not agree to that!). Have a look at their help file on the new version which gives some reasons for the change: Help article: What’s the new Fitbit app experience?
