IOS APP not loading activity stats or syncing to fitbit.com

Hi

 

As of today, when I enter an activity in the IOS app, it gets stuck loading activity stats and then says "Try again to sync". The activity stats never load and the activity doesn't sync to my dashboard on Fitbit.com  I want this syncing to be restored. Other things (food, etc.) continue to sync, but not logged activities. Help would be appreciated.

I also have this problem, IOS app not syncing exercise, since the recent "bug fix " update.  It is very fustrating and upsetting all my stats.

@Benttree @tomandandy I'd recommend the following steps:

1. Restart your tracker.

2. Turn off your iOS device's Bluetooth for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.

3. Force quit the App by: rapidly double tapping the iOS home button > swipe left until you see a preview of the Fitbit App > and swipe up on the preview to force close.

4. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to the internet and open the App to initiate a sync.


This should help both of you out, but let me know if either of you still need help!

These steps did not help. It is only exercise activity that will not sync. My husband is experiencing the same issue using the IOS app. I beleve this is an issue Fitbit engineers need to address. Can you pass the info on to them?

I'm also experiencing the same issue! And I don't know how resetting my Fitbit has to do with manually logged activity not syncing!

I am having issues syncing my Fitbit Charge HR as well as do the new update. I have tried all of your recommendations @DerrickS and they did not work. I have also deleted the Fitbit app (iPhone user) and reinstalled. I have also done the recent iOS update to the iPhone and the tracker will not sync. It says it last synced at 10:15pm tonight but all of the information is different and my tracker is 9 hours and 14 minutes behind in time. Not sure what else to do. Please help, thanks!

Same! Have tried it all and my flex isn't syncing since the update. This is silly!! And frustrating.

Same here. It's annoying after a 2 hour run and then you lose all of the data! I'd hate if this happened during a race.

 

Even worse is I'm trying to attach a screenshot, and this forum doesn't allow *.png images. Really Fitbit?

This happened to me today. During a 2 hour race 😕 Guess I will use something else to track GPS-data.

Model: iPhone 6, iOS v. 9.3.1
Fitbit app v. 2.21.1

Tried the steps above. Also tried turning on and off the phone.

Don't know if this is relevant, but I tracked with the my fitbit charge HR using exercise mode on the clock at the same time as I tracked using mobileRun in the app. The exercise mode syncs perfectly and shows up in the web interface.

Same think also happens to me today. Is there any solution for that ? I really don't want to lose that data.

Actually, people from this thread is reporting that it suddenly works again (like the last 20 mins). I guess it's only a matter of time before it's completely fixed. *cossing fingers*

When I opened my app it has also synced now! So it was probably an issue with the server side.

Maybe it's a region issue right now, since the problem seems to be servrside. I'm from Europe: My mobileRun with gps coordinates won't sync. But i can log new exercises and they will sync perfectly fine.

This is super annoying, I only want the gps tcx file, I couldn't care less about the workout. And I can see the tracked route right there in the app, but since it won't sync I can't export the data :(((
