Fitbit Update 3/24
It was brought to our attention that some users' workouts aren't showing up on their iOS activity log, but are showing up on their Fitbit.com activity log.

This is a known issue that our team is currently investigating. Thanks in advance for everybody's patience.

Whether you enter calories with your activity or not is not the solution. It is a synching problem between the APP and the wesite that FItbit engineers need to fix. I have been synching my activities the same way using the app for a couple of years and never had a problem until this started happening in March. There is also now a synching problem when logging food through the IOS app.

Still a problem - does Fitbit need to be replaced?

I can report that it is still not working for me even though a couple people posted yesterday that it was fixed for them. When I intitally entered the exercise this morning it looked like it was working, but within a few seconds the red not synced popped up again. There's been no update to the iOS app.

As if by magic.. Held down the button on my Fitbit HR to track my workout as usual. Just had a look and it's working again on the iOS app, including backdated workouts which were on my desktop dashboard! Fingers crossed it doesn't disappear again!

The problem that I believe this thread is about is still not fixed. This thread was about manually entering exercise in the iOS app and it failing to sync. I think it's been getting confused with different issues people have added to the thread.

This is correct- it's not fixed.

Yes - sorry - manually entered exercise in certain categories is STILL not syncing, and therefore is STILL not fixed - so if anyone from Fitbit is actually reading this ... don't assume that the original problem has corrected itself. It hasn't.

I'm having an issue with auto tracking of exercise with smart track. It's not showing on app or online on my dashboard. If I manually add it then all my steps and calories get adjuster so I don't get full credit for effort. Any solution to this? Again seems to have happened since the last software update.

Last time I emailed customer service about this problem they said they were going to contact engineering. But still nothing has been fixed.

They are sending me another replacement, I have had in excess of 10 people contact me since I first put this on Instagram all with a similar problem. Fitbit team should realise there is a fault somewhere in manufacture.

Hi all,

There seems to be two issues occuring on this thread: one smaller issue where custom exercises aren't being saved to the activity log and the second is for manually logged exercises (not custom) are showing as "non-synced" in the App.

For the first issue where you are logging a custom exercise, be sure to input Calories burned, this should get you back on track.

We are still investigating why some manually logged exercises (not custom) are showing as “not synced” in the app. I will be sure to post updates in this thread as they come in.

To reply to your post. Custom exercise still won't sync on my iPhone app even when I enter the calories manually.
But it does work on the website. What's the problem with the app?

@Cvbanks Some users' aren't seeing their workouts appear on their activity log in the App, but they still show up on their Fitbit.com activity log. It's an App-related problem that is currently being worked out.

Updates about this issue will be posted in the lead-in post of this thread.

Well that is not exceptible. It has been a known problem since March. I work in health care and this issue would not have existed for 4 weeks. Fit bit needs to address customer issues I a timely manner
