My iPhone 6 Plus, which automatically updates apps when updates are available, says the version 2.22 has been downloaded to my iPhone. But the app is not fully downloaded - it is faded and says "waiting". This has been going on for two days. Other apps have been successfully updated since that time and during the same timeperiod as the FitBit app. Do I have to delete and re-download? If so, doesn't that erase all of the data? Help?

Welcome to our Community @TravelAmore! It's great having you here! I noticed @SunsetRunner provided you with a great suggestion to help you resolve this. I agree with him, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app since it will not erase your data. Note that if you have not synced in over 24 hours, your activity data for previous days will be lost and only today's data will remain.
Hope this helps, have a nice day!

Hi @TravelAmore
Moved this thread from the Charge HR to the iOS App section since more relevant to the topic & increase the chance of getting a solution.
It's safe to uninstall the app & reinstall freshly. When logging foods,.. in the app, this is sync'ed to your fitbit account.
The app retrieves the information back from the account when internet is turned on (mobile or wifi).. so it always stays in sync.
