Had this problem on both a FitBit Alta and a Garmin 235. Can’t take credit for this but it’s worked for us.

1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone

2. Power off the device

3. Turn on again and resync

worked for us. Let me know if you have any luck 👍🏻

Since updating to ios11 and despite having the most updated version of the app I am unable to log in to the app.  Desktop version is all ok. I have reset my password three times, time and date update automatically on phone settings and I have hard reset the phone.  Still not working.   Any solutions?

Thanks for this solution. I had already worked through each of the suggestions before I posted the problem, but after I posted it, I then thought of trying a hard reset on my iPad which finally did the trick.

However I still keep getting a message that Bluetooth is disconnected, when in fact it's working.

Just annoying but not a problem.

thanks for the suggestion but it still doesn't work - when I try to
login to the mobile app it doesn't recognise my user name/password
combination despite it definitely being correct. It also didn't work
on an android device so am hoping this is a problem at Fitbit and
they'll fix it!

I followed all the advice, turned off Bluetooth, tried reloading the App etc. I finally connected my iPad to the App after I did a hard reset on my
iPad.

I'm not sure why, but I tried this on my iPhone which when it worked aLao made it possible for my iPad to sync. Like most technology you stumble across solutions after trying different things, if you don't have access to a face to face expert!
