IPhone app disappears after showing for one second.

When I try to start the Fitbit app on my iPhone 6 it disappears after a second.
By double clicking on the round button I see the app but it only lasts for a second after choosing it.

Personally, It's the first thing I did ! but it didn't help !

 

The only solution I found is to un-install Fitbit application on the IPHONE

and then install it again ! (no data lost, all seems to be OK !)

I have the same problem.

It started this morning and I can't use the application !!

Have you completely shut down and restarted the iPad/iPhone?

Mike, yes, I have completely shut down my iPhone and started it again several times without success.
It still disappears every time I try to start it up.

So you did not loose any data when un-installing and re-installing the app?
I will try that as well then and see if that helps

The data is all on the Fitbit server, nothing's held by the app itself.

Well, that I did not know.
I have now deleted the app and re-installed it. The app now works accordingly to what could be expected 🙂

Hi!

 

Did you try to improve the space left on your Iphone or Ipad (saving the content somewhere else then deleting it)?

 

I did it, just before un-install then switch off/on the phone or the laptop and install again the App.

 

It should be Ok. It worked for me !!

Just purchased a Fitbit Versa instead of replacing my Garmin that went bad. Installed app and connected to Fitbit Versa. App closes repeatedly and I can not setup the new device. iPhone XR and I have repeatedly uninstalled, powered off, reinstalled, rinse and repeat numerous times for the last several hours. No other apps open, 64gb of space so no issue there. What is the fix for app to get working or do I return the Fitbit and get a Garmin again?

Same here 😔 was so excited to get my preordered, expensive new Fitbit and can’t even use the app! Tired of reinstalling it. Very frustrating!
