Include option to restart fitbit trackers

I think th were should be an option to restart fitbit trackers from within the app.

Eg if my fitbit charge is not behaving properly I can tap the 'restart fitbit' button and it will reboot my fitbit, this would be useful if I don't have my charge cable handy.

Can you please include this option in a future update?

Great idea!

You may want to create a feature suggestion for this:

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Requests/idb-p/features

Have a search first though in case it's already been suggested in which case you can just add your vote.

Of course, resetting via the app does assume that the app and fitbit are able to communicate so it might be able to reset in every situation.

Hey thanks for the support.

Most fitbits can communicate via Bluetooth with smartphones anyway.

I'm not a programmer but I'm sure the reboot instruction can sent via the smartphone too.

That's true, in which case the traditional method of rebooting would need to be used, I'm only suggesting the inclusion of a button in the fitbit app as an option, let's say if it's not tracking steps properly or if it's not responding to tap gestures.
