Information lost from app when changing phones.

I’ve updated my phone from 6s to xr and backed up and transferred all my old info over. Fitbit app was there but a lot of info was missing. Sleep is there but no steps except that days steps. I’ve had to enter a lot of my data again. I’m a bit scared to delete charge 2 and reinstall in case everything goes.

Hello @Kirtyburty thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. Please note that all the information synced to your account gets stored in our servers and not on your phone. This makes changing phones or mobile devices easier as when you log in to your account, the app will pull up the information from the account stored in our servers.

Now, at this moment, I would like to ask you to log out from the account, then restart your phone and log back in. Is it possible your device was set up on a different email address? One that might be almost identical to the one you have now? Did you create a new account after installing the Fitbit app on your new phone? Did you set up the Fitbit device again or was it already in your account when you logged in?

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply.

Thanks for the advice. I did as you asked. Still not working. I got a new phone on Wednesday so I have 3 days of full info. When I use the arrows on top left side to go back it doesn’t have the steps or any info. Sleep pattern is there. I was just keeping an eye on the steps to push myself further.
