My step count is not working. My Inspire 2 will have 5,000 steps and it will say that when I go into the app, but when I sync my fitbit it has gone down by about half. What’s going on?

I am sorry to hear your steps count is not working. Thanks for the details shared and I am here to help. If, in addition to your Fitbit Inspire 2, you have a MobileTrack paired to your account, it can affect your step count. I recommend doing the following:
- Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture > MobileTrack.
- Scroll down and tap the option to remove the device if you're not using it.
- Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. For instructions, see this help article.
- Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
