Inspire hr no longer receiving notifications on IPhone 8+.

Hi @vvgrandma. I'm glad to see a new face around the Forums. I'm sorry for my delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know about your Inspire HR, and let's work together so you can receive notifications from your phone. There are some factors that may prevent your Fitbit device from receiving notifications, and to ensure this isn't your case please make sure of the following:

 

  • The software on your iPhone is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • The Fitbit app is also updated to the latest version.
  • Your Fitbit device and phone are within 20 feet.
  • The Do Not Disturb settings are off.
  • To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.

 

Once that is done, please try the following:

  1. Remove your device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Reboot your phone and restart your Inspire HR.
  3. On your phone's settings tap Notifications > Messages and make sure the three options under alerts are enabled.
  4. On your Inspire HR clock screen, hold the left button to turn on the notifications.
  5. Open the Fitbit app, tap the profile's icon > Inspire HR > Sync now.
  6. Wait until it syncs and tap on Notifications. Proceed to pair via Bluetooth when prompted.
