Background: I have an Ionic that like everybody else is not syncing with my iPhone. It also has stopped telling the time correctly. Looking at other forums I can see similar issues with other Fitbit watches and sync issues (although less widespread) with other phone OS (eg Android).
Currently, do people know if the Versa2 is having the same issues or are all these issues restricted to earlier watches and trackers?
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity

Hi @NickConnolly. It's great to have you here!
Thanks for sharing details about your Ionic, and visiting other boards related to the syncing issues. I understand how you're feeling about your watch not syncing correctly. Our team is aware that some of our members are unable to connect their Fitbit devices after updating to iOS 13. They're currently working on this matter to bring a solution as soon as possible. Please know that every feedback posted in the forums never goes unnoticed as it helps us to implement improvements on our products.
If you've not done so, give a try to the troubleshooting described in this help article which have worked for others.
If you need anything else, let me know.

1. This message is not about my Ionic as such. That was just background to my question.
2. Your response doesn’t answer my question about the Versa2. I’ll ask it again: are Versa2 watches suffering these same problems?
I was asking that because if there was a Fitbit watch that keeps time & can sync then I’d swap my Ionic for that. Simple solution. Fitbit keeps a customer and I get a watch that works.

Bought an Apple Watch instead. Best solution.
