Unfortunately, I am unable to get any notifications after completing all the trouble shooting steps.

I have a Android running version 9.

Ionic Version 27.33.1.30

Can you please assist?

I am in the same situation and trying to fix this problem for months now.  Same firmware, manufacture reset twice. remove and add device on phone app many time. Swipe right, notification is there.  Not sure what else i can do. It worked before and not working anymore. Currently on Android 9 with OP 7 Pro.  Please help. Contacted fitbit support but no help.

Wow!  So, that hidden setting supersedes the setting in the Settings??? Seriously, Fitbit developers?  Do you guys know what the heck you guys are doing?

Somehow it was turned off in my case too.  I must have done it accidentally but it stopped working when I had installed the iOS update a month ago.  So, I thought iOS must have implemented some security and Fitbit need to work on the update to fix the issue.  That is why I was waiting patiently but then iOS 13 came out, and no luck on notifications.

Anyway,  I just turned it back on and now wait and see if I get the notification from now on.

Why does the Fitbit need multiple settings that act differently?  In my case, I reset (all sort of resets, trust me) my Ionic like several times in a month, deleted  and re-installed the Fitbit App etc, then verified the notification settings on both the Ionic and app to ensure notifications are ON but had no luck fixing it.

Hope, that fix the issue because it was so annoying having a SmartWatch acts like DumbWatch!

Hi I noticed my Ionic stopped receiving phone notifications. I discovered that somehow my notifications were switched off.

Press and and hold left button and it brings up screen wake and notifications, in mine this is where it said Off.

Hope this helps!

Thank you!  You are my hero of the day.  I've been trying to figure this out for a long time.  It never occurred to me that there was yet another setting for it.  I found it and for the first time in months, notifications are working!

I  have the Ionic and Samsung Galaxy s9.  I have not any trouble until just recently.  All of a sudden I stopped getting text notifications and phone calls.  I have turned off notifications on watch restarted, turned off notifications on Fitbit restarted phone - turned ionic back on - nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit on my phone.  I have deleted my Ionic and resynced with my phone and still no notifications.  What is my next option?  I have done everything that I have found searching on Google and nothing works.  This is very frustrating.  The only thing I have not done is a Factory Reset on my Ionic because I don't want to have to download my music again.  Suggestions?

Hi did you try this solution, I’ve since moved on from Fitbit, so not sure if there has been any updates since I posted this previously. Good Luck!
