Ionic receiving but not displaying notifications

My ionic will show me notifications if I pull down the screen and look for them. It doesn’t pop up on the screen on its own and do any notification that I’ve received anything.

@Itssofun, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Ionic notifications. Refresh the link between your phone and your Ionic by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find additional suggestions here including important settings like privacy settings on your phone.

Let me know how it goes.

I did that and now the notification don’t show up on the phone at all. The Ionic no longer shows up under my Bluetooth menu (although it will sync my steps) so I can’t try it again. Any other ideas?
