Just updated to iOS 13.1.2 last night. Now Fitbit app says to connect to Bluetooth to be able to sync. Settings indicate that ionic is connected to Bluetooth. Have tried most suggestions including resetting & turning off ionic, updating Fitbit app, & cutting off device, Ionic has worked perfectly until the iOS update. I’m aware that Fitbit is working on the notifications issues that have been caused by the iOS update. Will the syncing problems be addressed also?

Hello @Ionic2019
Welcome to the Fitbit Community. I see your having syncing issues. I have noticed this problem occurring quite often after that pesky iOS update. Hopefully I can help you with your syncing issue. I think your best course of action is to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of your Fitbit App. You will not lose data doing this. Here’s how:
- Log out of the Fitbit app and force shut the app by swiping up
- Completely uninstall the Fitbit App from your device
- Now completely shut down your device and wait about 1 min then restart your device
- Once your device has reloaded reinstall the Fitbit app by downloading it from the App Store
- Once it’s installed, log into your device as you normally would with username and password
- Don’t touch anything in the app...just wait until you get a prompt from your Bluetooth.
- When prompted by your Bluetooth tap yes
- Now try to sync
Doing this will give you the cleanest install and should repair your syncing time issues.
😃 Please let me know if this provided you with the best answer to your syncing issue. Keep me posted.

Unfortunately, your fix did not work. 😞 Which is sad because I really miss my Fitbit. I am having withdraws as it has been 4 days.

Let’s try restarting your Versa @ssimmons86
You will not lose data doing this. Here’s how:
- For Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Fitbit Versa 2, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
- Let go of the buttons. Now try to sync

@SunsetRunner I have done that several times. I did it again for giggles just now. I have been through a load of troubleshooting with TechSupport. I have come up with nothing.

Not happy !!! Why does my fitbit take so long to load my activity or sleep or or or. ???? ( ps. I have a new Apple phone). Why are all my Fitbit buddies disappearing.?? Are they going to others devices ???? I am not happy. Almost a six year member in December. !!! !!!!!!! I want to hear from you please or perhaps, you no longer care ! Fit bit makes it almost impossible to touch base. So many changes. !!! Is this before OR after theY have been purchased and lost 8 million users and they don’t care ?? Should I bail?? PS. I am tech savvy but do not want a twitter account which is apparently the only way you want to communicate. Thanks. Val.
