Ionic syncing problem following ios 13.1.2 update

Just updated to iOS 13.1.2 last night. Now Fitbit app says to connect to Bluetooth to be able to sync. Settings indicate that ionic is connected to Bluetooth. Have tried most suggestions including resetting & turning off ionic, updating Fitbit app, & cutting off device,  Ionic has worked perfectly until the iOS update. I’m aware that Fitbit is working on the notifications issues that have been caused by the iOS update. Will the syncing problems be addressed also?

I tried all of the instructions available on the Fitbit community help site. Shutting device down. Restarting. Deleting app. Reinstalling. Logging back in. Still will not connect via Bluetooth/iPhone 10XR won’t recognize it.
any other helpful instructions?

thank you

Hello and welcome @doc2rouge

If all the troubleshooting steps provided in my previous post did not resolve your issue I would suggest calling Fitbit Customer Service. You can find ways to contact them here: https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs&co=GB

Had similar problem and may be a lead for future issues...:

Currently on iOS 13.2.3 on an IPad 5 gen. Has been working smoothly for almost a year. Before that had to get two replacements for strange issues but that is another story.

this morning, trying to sync, ... « no device found »

tried shutting down, resetting both the iPad and the ionic etc... no success.

then I remembered that I got a new android phone for Xmas!

and installed fitbit app on it ...

in fact I also had the Fitbit app on the old android phone!

I thought the new phone was the source of my issues, but the ionic was not paired with it. nevertheless, I removed the app from the phone

However, the old phone was paired to my ionic.
Had not used the app on that phone for a while, and noticed that it was not showing the sleep score! So I checked the app version and discovered it was not the latest software.

made the update and.... the app synced with the ionic...

reinstalled the app on the new phone and it works fine, and on the iPad as well...

I guess it is difficult trace the issue to its source, but it seems that all the time, the ionic was locked into the old phone app and would not allow the new phone and the iPad to pair and sync.....

After a rough start with a versa and with two other ionics I am quite happy with this one and hope it will keep working as it does right now

I wish I could be lucky enough to synch my Ionic Adidas.  It's driving me crazy!!!!!!  I've chatted with them 3 times with no resolution.  It's not even reliable for time anymore.  I have been using Fitbit since like 2011 when the Fitbit was a little clip on device.  I have done everything as instructed and nothing.  My husband had a Versa but switched to Garmin and is very happy with it.  That makes this even more frustrating.
