Is iOS app version 3.14 working for you?

This is the state of Fitbit for me now. I turned off automatic updates because I’m afraid a random update will decrease my functionality. I haven’t updated to iOS 13.X on my iPhone because I’m afraid I’ll lose functionality. Can anyone tell me if the new app update (3.14) is working fine?

Hi @Fyrfyter. It's good to see you around.

Thanks for your taking the time to share your thoughts about the functionality of the Fitbit app. I understand your concern about updating the Fitbit app and let me share that we recommend to update our Fitbit products so all of them can work correctly with the latest enhancements implemented. To know more about what has changed in the latest updates for the Fitbit app, see this help article.

If you need anything else, let me know.

Thanks for the response. The help article that you have highlighted has no more information than, “We fixed some bugs and made stability improvements“.    Each update before that says the same thing. Is that all we can expect for updates moving forward?

No it’s not don’t update, I usually wait 6 months to a year b4 I updating any apps. I knew I was going to regret it but

foolishly updated anyway

I have had Fitbit for several years and this is first time this has happened

Nope! Suddenly stopped getting sleep stages/sleep score and now realize that’s coincidental with the automatic upgrade to 3.14.  Have tried everything to try to fix it including contact customer support so I think it’s a bug...which will hopefully be addressed before I switch to an Apple Watch out of frustration!!

Mee too. And always some issues when updating. Even more issues when updating the Versa itself versus the iOS app.

So, I did the update and now my workouts don’t record anymore.  Starting this week, my Versa doesn’t automatically record workouts. If I enter them manually it just says that it doesn’t have enough data. I can see the data in my heart rate area but my workout can’t use it. Why is this happening? This is why I’m wary of Fitbit’s updates; because it seems that every one removes a valuable feature. This is supposed to be a FITNESS TRACKER, but now it isn’t.
