Is it possible to pair multiple devices to one account?

Hi,

I was just exploring the FitBit website and found an misprint. It says that if you can not choose between two fitbit devices you both like, you can pair both to your account. But then in a footnote right below that, it says you can only pair one at a time. I do not personally know for myself which is correct, but I am sure this will cause confusion for others as it did for me.

@TechAutoBlog  When I looked at that page, I saw a "* Only one Fitbit smart watch can be paired to your account."  The Ionic, Versa and Charge 3 are the smart watches.  Is there a different misprint that I missed?

I have a Charge 3 and a One on my account right now.

Hi,
I think I figured it out. The app will let you pair a smartwatch like the
ionic, Versa, or Charge 3 with another fitness tracker with not as many
features, but it will not let you pair two smartwatches. However, this is a
little disappointing because you can’t switch between the Charge 3 and
Versa/ionic for daily to exercise wear. Thanks!

Hello @TechAutoBlog, I hope you're doing well, it's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community. It's great to see you too @LZeeW, thanks for your insight about this situation. Smiley Happy

@TechAutoBlog, I appreciate your participation and for taking the time to update the thread. Indeed, at this moment it's only possible to have 1 smartwatch set up in your account at a given time. You can set up a different tracker or trackers to your account but the app won't let you set up another smartwatch (Ionic / Versa / Charge 3) on it.

I understand having 2 smartwatches in your account is very important for your, which is why I would like to suggest you to check @m_matson's suggested idea to implement this feature in a future update. Feel free to add your vote and comment, this is the best way to make your voice heard and get the attention from our development team.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hi,

There is one thing you could do that so far no other moderators have answered.

Is there an estimated time for when/if the Charge 3 will receive the so-called coming soon calendar and leaderboard apps and 3rd party apps. It just does not seem fair that Ionic and Versa get these features and we don’t especially when the charge 3 is advertised as a smartwatch. The only response I have received from other moderators is: “hi, thanks for sharing your wonderful idea, keen to hear what others think?” It sure seems like moderators have no clue about it or they are just hiding something And ignoring me.

Hello @TechAutoBlog, I hope you're doing well, thanks for taking the time to reply. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have come back and posted your question. Please note that we don't have a specific list of features or apps that are added with each firmware update on any device. Our team is constantly striving to improve our products and services, which means we're always innovating and creating new devices with additional capabilities, technology and features. These new capabilities may not be something we're able to release on our previous models. We use community feedback and learnings from existing products, to build and develop new ones. We value all of our customers and strive to ensure we have a range of product offerings in terms of capability, pricing, and design.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.
