Hi Ruby ,

I would say it’s worth trying again. Before it’s worked even for a short time I would be giving it a go.
Going by a message from Lilly earlier on I believe Fitbit are looking into the issues regarding the update.
I’m sticking with Fitbit even though it has been an interesting last week or two before getting my own SE syncing again. It’s a small phone but perfect for sticking in a pocket where you will hardly notice it. Remember, it’s not the size that counts but how and where you use it, unlike my clumsy Samsung .

What about the issues syncing with Samsung Galaxy s6? I've gone through the steps numerous times. I called, they had me update the app (second time in as many weeks) andit worked for 2 days. Now it's hit/miss again.

I have followed this suggestion SO many times! Sometimes it works for one sync, but this is a very rare occasion. Please, Fitbit, find a solution for this extremely widespread problem ...... and soon!

Fitbit Versa, has not been syncing it is getting very annoy as it is my watch and is now not telling the correct time. If I restart the app and my Versa it syncs it again but by the morning is wrong. Not very good for a smart watch!!!

Hi Paula,

Frustrating it most certainly is. I’ve just had a look at my J4+ and it’s settings. It appears to be along the same lines as the iOS system, except it says “unpair” rather than “forget this device “.
Personally, what I have noticed with my J4+ and my previous Sony-Ericsson was that they can both take a press or two of the sync bubble before they did come up with “a moment ago”.
I would like to think Fitbit and Google which are part of Alphabet are looking into the issue.

Message timed 17:05 Sunday 17th May

I deleted the fitbit APP yesterday evening (without forgetting my Charge 3 first). I then reinstalled the APP and it's been working ever since! This is nothing significantly different to what I have done many times in the past week on which occasions doing so didn't work for more than an hour. But this time it has (SO FAR - nearly 24 hours)

My fitbit is now showing the correct time and everything!

Have Fitbit made any changes to the APP software?
if they say anything other than "yes" to this I won't believe you.

Everyone should try deleting and reinstalling the APP and report whether you have the same success that I seem to have had.

Probably now I've reported this my fitbit will stop again ... but that's sods law for you!

I'll post again if it does.

Hi what do you mean by “not forgetting my  charge 3 first” ? I deleted my app then reinstalled. Still not coming up in my Bluetooth. So frustrated. I’ve tried everything

Within the Fitbit App you can choose to forget your Fitbit device. This can be used if you upgrade to a new device ie you forget the old device & link to the new one.

You should not be pairing via the Bluetooth manager on your phone but rather through the Fitbit app.

Best Regards

Mike

I had given up on syncing my Fitbit for calls and notifications but have still been wearing my watch consistently. (I do not have trouble with syncing steps and stats) For the past week,  phone calls and my life360 app have been showing notifications flawlessly!! Now, for the past few days I am so happy to see text messages and other notifications as well!!! It’s been so nice to be able to enjoy these things again. FYI, I hadn’t done anything different as I am pretty sure Fitbit resolved this on their end.

I’ve tried all the troubleshooting options but my Bluetooth doesn't did my charge 3 anymore. It is now an hour behind on time!

I have tried all the troubleshooting steps and I am still having an issue syncing to my iPhone.
My Versa loses time constantly and is no longer fit for purpose since the latest update.

Same thing happened to me and nothing is working. What an inconvenience:(

This fix does not work if the device is not showing in the Bluetooth settings on the iPhone.
I can’t even get to forget as my Versa does not show and just keeps saying looking for device in the Fitbit App.

It will work, just try it again. uninstall the app and everything. then
reinstall.

As already stated by several on here that may work for some or work once, then doesn’t. Ive tried all that and My charge 3 still counts steps but the time and date are out by 3 day’s and 9 hours, it won’t re appear for me to reconnect to Bluetooth and in the app after looking says no device found. Please please please  rather than restating the same work arounds that many have tried which can be seen from reading these threads can moderators get Fitbit to recognise that these solutions only sometimes or temporarily work and actually fix the issue!

No that doesn’t work for me, I have tried this several times and it still does not work.
My Fitbit app just keep saying no device found even though Bluetooth is on and Fitbit is right next to my phone.
