here it is:

It appears be more an iOS problem, introduced by Apple. Have you tried this "your device to connect to Bluetooth follow the steps in @PL66's post, go into your settings under Bluetooth click forget his device and set up again"

I agree with PL66 . For many people it’s an iOS update problem and it’s up to Apple to fix it.
Please remember Apple are now in direct competition with Alphabet who own Google and Fitbit.
In these financially troubled times for companies across the globe , expect no favours between competitors.
As we have seen, some remedies have worked, unfortunately not for all .

Lily:

thanks for the update. It’s helpful to know that this issue is recognized and steps are being taken to resolve it.

I can now sync my Fitbit however the only data that is displayed on my app on my iPhone and iPad is calories burned - not steps. It also doesn’t show sleep info. I can see how many steps I’ve taken by looking directly at my Fitbit. Also, if I log into Fitbit on my windows computer, the step count is still being tracked there. This is clearly an issue since the latest iOS update that occurred this week.

On iPhone go into settings, Bluetooth, select forget this device. Then when it asks for “allow Fitbit to access this device” select yes. Mine reset. It worked for me.

Hi Alfie,

click on your icon in the top left of the screen. That will then show your account details and devices.

Scroll to the bottom and click Advanced Settings.

Yoy will then see Automatic time setting at the top of the screen . Make sure the bubble on the right is green and that should sync with time in your location.
it should also say underneath the green bubble what time zone location you are linked to .
if you’re in the UK it should say London.

Hi Zoe,

If it’s the Automatic time function which didn’t work then disable the green bubble and set manually to the time zone you are in . Remember we are in British summertime in the UK so you may have to take the +1 option.

For the past week my phone calls have been syncing with my Fitbit without having to re-sync daily!!! It has been so nice, however text message and other app notifications are still not showing up and I have double checked all my settings. The only app that is showing notifications on my Fitbit is the Life360 app. Hopefully Fitbit is actively working on this to get it resolved.
