It's not logging steps

I just paced in my room for a solid 5-10 minutes and my Fitbit One only logged 20 or so steps. I literally checked it twice while pacing and there was not a single step added. Whhhyyyy?

Hello @HeatherVV, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

This seems like a very odd situation, have you tried to restart your tracker lately? After restarting your tracker let's try performing an accuracy test to check that your tracker is working normally.

To perform the accuracy test:

1. Put your tracker on your wrist and check how many steps you have at this point
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.

If your tracker counted less than 100 steps or more than 100, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team. Let them know about the test you've performed, I'm sure they will be more than happy to get you back on track.

Give it a try and let me know the outcome!
