Step Difference Alta vs One

Hey everyone! I've had a fitbit one for awhile now, and just upgraded to the alta. I've worn them both for a couple of days to see if there's a difference in at all, and there is. The One counts 1000 more steps then the alta. That's a BIG difference! What gives? I love the alta but i'm not impressed with this differene. What should I do? Thanks!

Are you able to see the difference in steps on the display of the Alta and One? If so, please try to restart your Alta to remove any unfinished process or bug that might be affecting its accuracy. Additionally, check your device settings and adjust your dominant hand if necessary.
