I hadn’t used my fitbit for several months. I recharged it and performed an update to the app and synced to my Charge 4. The sleep analysis charts in the latest version are terrible! The charts were excellent for years, now they’re difficult to read. In addition, I can’t change app to Dark mode or system view settings. Very dissatisfied.

Hi @Drews4d. Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with me.
Sorry for the inconvenience you have faced during this time using the new app.
Please note that whenever we make changes and improvements we think about how to meet the demands of our customers. However, this does not guarantee that in some cases certain features of the application or trackers will not be pleasant for some of the users.
However, I'd ask you take a look at the following post regarding the new design: Redesigned Sleep experience now in the Fitbit app.
I understand how helpful it'd be to enable dark mode on the Fitbit app and I'm sorry this isn't available yet. Our team constantly works to improve our products, and the input we receive from our members is a big part of the process. If you haven't done so, please vote for this idea posted in the Feature Suggestions board so our developers can keep tracking this request over time.
Pleasek take a look at the following article: How do I use the Fitbit app.

I agree with @Drews4d Drews4d. I read the "redesigned sleep experience" link you provided and there isn't any new capability. The old version already had "detailed insights" about the time of each sleep cycle and "sleep patterns over time". I loved that feature and it was easy to use and read. Not wanting to change and learn a new app was the only thinking keeping me from buying an Apple Watch. Since I can no longer have the same Fitbit app I loved anyway, I ordered the discounted Apple Watch 9 to try out. If I like it, I will cancel my Fitbit subscription. There is a lot of competition in fitness bands now, so when you make a change that disrupts your customers, there needs to be some impressive new features to make it worth it. Forcing change without a benefit sometimes results in customers making a bigger change and for all of the Apple users, the Google compatibility is not helpful either. I liked it better when Fitbit was Fitbit rather than Google and now Google Pay making it feel more like it's not Apple friendly. Life is simpler when all of my things sync and work together.

Same here…ever since the latest update, my sleep analysis has been way off, and when I scroll down to update my app, every so often during the day, the first time it’s fine, but when I do it again to see if the numbers are the same, the app freezes, and I have to close out the app.
