Lifetime kilometers not updating

Why do the lifetime kilometres not update on a regular basis. Mine have not updated since May 20/19

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for your question, seems odd that your lifetime kilometers are not updating. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which iOS mobile device are you using? This issue is affecting distance only or other stats as well? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the iOS version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

I have a iPhone 6s.
By deleting the Fitbit app will I be deleting all the information contained in it such as all of the statistics I have recorded over the past three years. Thanks

To answer your question, no. The information from your account will not be deleted if you uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app because such information is in our servers. Please try the steps from my previous post and let me know how it goes.

Tried your suggestion and it didn’t work. Still no update on lifetime kilometres and sometimes it doesn’t record my daily activity

It never worked and now my Fitbit won’t track my daily walking hours. I walked three hours yesterday and three today and it is not recording that now since I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it. This Fitbit charge 3 has been nothing only problems since I purchased it. My Charge 2 never ever had any problems.
