Log Time for mapped Hike/Walk/Run is 8 hours in the future

Saw this problem for the first time this afternoon (Wed Feb 26 2020 2:00pm Pacific Standard Time). I used the mobile app to start mapping a hike at 2:00pm, but when I had completed the activity, my exercise log showed the hike at 10:00pm, with no map shown in the exercise log list. The map shows in the exercise detail, but no distance, pace or calories are there. The hike also shows in the activity list on the Fitbit.com web app, but clicking on the "detail" button gives a error message saying Fitbit is "experiencing an internal server problem... please contact support..."

I chatted with support, and followed their recommendations (resetting time zone on the mobile app & dashboard, resetting my Charge2) but the problem persists - all mapped activities are 8 hours in the future, with incomplete data.

Is there a fix for this that actually works???

I am having the same issue too. Tried resetting the phone, delete and reinstall the app, check all settings but nothing works.

I had the same problem and was able to find a fix, at least it worked for me. The phone app would not allow the future time to be edited. I logged into my Fitbit account on my desktop and it showed 2 walks .. my walk starting at correct time of 9 am w/map and incomplete info. AND also showed a future walk at 2 pm w/no info! I deleted the future non existent walk from the desktop screen and that fixed my actual data when I went back to my phone app.
