Unable to sync - Device not found

Ever since the app updated a couple nights ago it will not sync to my Versa 2. It just says “device not found.” Ive tried restarting everything, deleting the app and nothing has worked. I have the latest iOS.

@paigecf   I also woke up to a Device Not Found.  You mention the steps you took, but sometimes the order of the steps is important.  I did this today:

  • Log out of the Fitbit app
  • Turn your phone off
  • Restart your Versa 2
  • Turn your phone on
  • Log back in to the app

This worked for me.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Hello @paigecf, welcome to the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. In addition to the steps that were shared by our friend @LZeeW, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

I did all of these things listed, including reading the forums, and my device still isn’t being found via Bluetooth. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it, deleted my device and readded it, and gone through all the steps listed above. What else can be done? I’m very frustrated.
