Logging Water with Barcode?

New to Fitbit!

I scanned the barcode on some bottled water and it showed up correctly in my food log.  It seems like (since it has identified it as water) that it would know to add this to my water log as well.

Am I missing something?

It's a logical thought but it's just not that clever. The barcode scanner just updates your food log and you need to manually log your water

Hello @drlias and welcome!, it's a pleasure for me to greet new members in the Community! Smiley Happy

As @SteveH mentioned, the barcode scanner just updates your food log, even if you're scanning a bottle of water, the information will be recognized as food, you will still need to manually add the water log in the app. I think this is a terrific idea and I would like to encourage you to submit it as a suggested feature, so the Community members can vote for it and add their comments, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.

In case you need anything else, feel free to reply, I'll be happy to help. Smiley Wink
