Hello there,
Is there a way to create a custom meal and log only a fraction of it? For instance, if I make a large pot of chili, could I enter the recipe as is (i.e., 1lb of ground turkey, etc.) and then only log 1/8 of it rather than figuring out 1/8 of every ingredient I add?

Hello @seporter12, have a warm welcome to the Community, it's great to have you on board!
Currently, splitting meals is not possible, even when you're able to log and record a full meal on the online Dashboard. I think this is a terrific idea and I went ahead and found @ACauson suggested idea that adjusts perfectly to your request. I would like to encourage you to vote for this idea and add your comment to it, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.
I hope this can be helpful, feel free to reply in case you need anything else!

I haven't found a way to do this in the FitBit application, so I usually use sparkrecipes.com (and I'm sure there are a lot of other sites like it) to enter the entire recipe, and then enter the single-serving nutritional information from that as a custom food in the FitBit application.

Thank you for the wonderful suggestion, @icewarnerd! I have never used sparkrecipes, but it looks very promising.

I use myfitnesspal's recipe calculation feature. It allows you to enter all ingredients, specify the number of servings, and generates a full nutrition analysis. Multiply the fat grams by 9 to get the "calories from fat" number for the Fitbit app's Create Food entry. Myfitnesspal does not have the advertising that the other recommended recipe analysis site seems to have. I am looking forward to the Fitbit app getting this capability! It is one of the tools I used most on MyFitnessPal before switching to the Fitbit app.
