Logging in to App

When I log into my account on my computer, I hit the "log in using FaceBook."  However, the app doesn't give me that option.  It wants an email address and password.  I registered through FaceBook, though, not with an email and password.  How do I get logged in through the app?

Hello @AngelGraver and welcome!, it's great to see new faces around. Smiley Happy

When trying to log in through the app, as you registered your account using Facebook, I would like to suggest entering the email address and password associated to your Facebook account to log into the Fitbit app.

Hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anyhting else. Smiley Wink

Thank you.  I had already tried that, and it didn't work, unfortunately.

Hello @AngelGraver, thank you for replying, I hope you're doing well.

In this case I would like to suggest trying the Forgot your password? option when trying to log in through the Fitbit app. Type in the email you used on your Facebook account and check if you receive an email to change your password (which will change only the Fitbit account one).

If this doesn't do the trick, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team. Let them know about everything you've tried so far, I'm sure they will be more than happy to get you back on track.

Let me know the outcome! Smiley Happy

I ran into the same issue and I wasn't getting the reset emails (after confirming I was using the right email address).  It turns out that my email address somehow flagged Fitbit emails as spam (I never did this) and so even emails I generated from Fitbit wouldn't send to me.  I've been working with Fitbit support to remedy this and we are in the process now.
