Have you entered any activities manually?  if so, that will write over whatever your fitbit recorded.

Thanks Scott. I haven’t put any manual activities in so don’t think it’s that. It started with my old charge 2   being this was getting old I purchased a new charge 3 not even a week ago yet   It’s recorded 2days ok and the others it records active minutes until evening then they just disappear from charge 3 and app on phone

Got it.  When you say it disappears, are you talking about active minutes you see on the CH3 screen before a sync disappear after a sync?  Or is it active minutes that show the same on the CH3 and in the app after syncing a workout in the morning disappear in both places later in the day?

Is your CH2 is still linked to your account?  If so, remove it to eliminate a possible confounding factor.

I have linked apps to my account that work like manually entered activities.  Bike rides I do with my Garmin bike computer sync to my Fitbit account as activities via Strava and MyFitnessPal (looks like I’ve done two rides during the same time - one coming from Strava and the other from MFP).  In effect that actually gives Fitbit three sources of information for the same time period — the stats from what it records, the stats transferred from Strava, and the stats transferred from MFP.  Only the last of the two synchronized records from Strava or MFP winds up in my daily stats but that does change whatever is on my CH3 before a sync,  I can get back to what the CH3 calculated for that time period by deleting the imported records from Strava and MFP.

Hi sorry for slow response. I loose my active minutes between 5pm and 7pm everyday on my ch3 and phone app. I don’t have any other apps. Sometimes if I do more active minutes later in the day they stay on my ch3  and Phone app. My ch2 is disconnected from my Fitbit account and has been since the day I revived my ch3.  Wendy woohoo
