Love the new app layout. Fresh, clean, minimalistic, modern feel, with the data taking the spotlight. All the core stats are clearly visible. I love the fact that the tiles are given the same billing in terms of size.
I was easily able to transfer to the new layout - no friction...
Well done Fitbit!!!

Hello @SunsetRunner
Its great to read someone likes the new Fitbit App. I was pretty upset at first. I didn’t like it. But I’ve never been one to like change and better suited to be a creature of habit. It’s not perfect but I was one of the first waves of the new update so I’ve grown used to it. Now (besides the creating challenge issue) I don’t really mind it at all. So I sit next to you on the “I’m happy with it” table.

In the new dashboard all the detailed data (sleep info, progress on goals) has been REMOVED and you can only see it by tapping in to each section.
So I don’t understand your comment because far less data is immediately visible in the new dashboard and has been replaced by lots of white space?

As I look at the new sleep section..I can see that I slept 6.11 hours with a graphic showing me the hours
I actually spent versus my ideal sleep. It also tells me that I was 40 mins awake. That's without clicking into details..That's more than enough as a summary..They have struck a great balance showing core information. Very well thought out. For me, I don't need a detailed breakdown of sleep each time I look at the dashboard.. Just a summary..Ditto for the rest of it.
I suspect that for the handful of people on this forum that are lodging their unhappiness with the change, there will be many, many more that are happy or aren't bothered either way..and a happy customer is a quiet customer...
The white space helps me quickly scan the app. If I need detailed information, I can drill down..Perfect,

Fair enough. For those of us who like the more detailed info multiple steps of swiping and tapping have now been added, with white space replacing the immediate detailed info we used to get.
Would you agree having a choice of dashboard would be most appropriate? So you could pick the less detailed, more spaced version, whereas I could stick with the more detailed view that saves time on tapping and swiping?

I would agree that allowing users to decide choice of Dashboard would be a great win win for everyone. I, like @SunsetRunner prefer the “just give me the basics” view. But do understand if I tap the tile I’ll get a more detailed view which I understand would be more cumbersome for individuals who want much more details at a glance. I know I’ve read where lots of individuals are not overly pleased with “all the white space” but I have to be honest and say I hope they don’t change that. I’m visually impaired due to a brain tumor removed a year ago so for “me” it suits me better. Hopefully once all the issues go through the “Fitbit Wash” something will come out that makes everyone happy. 😃

Yes, I would agree with that.

Thanks @SunsetRunner !
Seems reasonable to request a customisable dashboard in which I can see all the detail I am used to from 2 years 8 months of FitBit use, whilst you could opt for a more holistic but less detailed view.
Maybe FitBit will listen and just let us have our old dashboard back instead of what for ME is a massive downgrade due to the removal of all the detail from the main screen.
