Luxe active zone minutes are inaccurate

I recently bought a Luxe, and had to update my app which switched my active minutes to "zone minutes".

The zone minute feature is very inaccurate for me. According the the AHA, my max heart rate is 187bpm and my exercise zone should be 93bpm-150bpm. This is exactly where the old app, and active minute feature had it--however, the new app and "zone minute" feature has my exercise zone between 114bpm-167bpm.

This is so inaccurate, that any exercise outside of outright running doesn't get me "zone minutes". My fitbit can see that I'm walking, and even if it's a brisk walk it doesn't log any "zone minutes". What's ridiculous, is that the zone minute section in the app claims it's following AHA recommendations, but it's clearly not using their calculator anymore.

What's even more ridiculous is that anytime my heart rate blips over 114bpm I get "zone minutes". Mild scare watching a horror movie? Zone minutes. Thirty seconds walking up the stairs to get to my apartment door? Zone minutes. Social anxiety? Zone minutes. But that 45 minute brisk walk I took after dinner doesn't log as anything.

This change has made the "zone minutes" functionally useless for me. Is there a way to fix it so that it's tracking correctly, and not giving me target zones for a 13yo olympic gymnast?

They don't match at all. The fitbit app can auto-recognize that I'm getting exercise and accurately log that, but none of it counts towards my zone minutes. This was not an issue before the app switched the active minutes to "zone minutes". My active minutes used to line up with my exercise log almost exactly, and now it's off entirely and rarely shows my exercise as counting towards zone minutes. I usually get 60-90 min of activity each day, and almost none of this is counting towards zone minutes now.

Meanwhile, I'm showing that I have 5 "zone minutes" that I acquired while I was sleeping.

On that second link you sent me it says that my "fat burn zone" should be 50%-69% of my max heart rate and cardio should be 70%-84%, using the formula of 220 - my age. That puts my max heart rate at 187bpm, and that means my fat burn zone should be 93-129bpm and my cardio should be 130-157bpm. Instead, the new "zone minutes" has my fat burn 114-137bpm, and my cardio as 138-167bpm. This is wildly off, and wasn't an issue until I switched to "zone minutes". Because of this error almost none of the moderate activity I do counts towards zone minutes now.

@DeepSeaCats   Fitbit's Help article hasn't been updated to include the Luxe.  The Luxe uses the same equation as the Charge 4, Ionic, Sense, etc. devices.  It doesn't use the 50-69% of max heart rate that you mention.  It uses an equation that uses your resting heart rate in the calculation.  Your zones aren't wildly off.  Your Luxe is calculating them correctly.
