Manual activities won't log steps, AZM and calories on iOS

When I manually add an activity, either a walk or treadmill exercise, the app is no longer calculating nor displaying the number of steps. It just shows zero steps for the activity.

I’ve tried resetting the app, checking to make sure it’s the most recent version. Have also restarted my phone, logged out of the app and logged back in and this issue still persists.

Would appreciate any ideas or recommendations, thank you.

This week Monday (6/17/24), I tried entering another walk tracked with my Garmin watch. This time it properly recorded it, including steps, calories, etc. Again today, I entered my distance walked on the golf course per my Garmin GPS watch and Fitbit app again recorded all the information appropriately, so it appears all is working fine now regarding this issue.

When I golf, and walk 18 holes… my golf watch counts my steps for me.

- I want to add those steps obtained from a non-Fitbit device, into my dashboard.

- No ‘cheating’ going on here… r/Michael
