Mile splits not working on app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recently updated my Fitbit app on my iPhone. Up until then my mile splits were working perfectly, for example, id run 3 miles and then it would break it down how quick I ran each mile (or at least I think that's how it works)

However, after my app updated now my mile splits don't make sense. I do a 3 mile run and it's split into 6 cues. Why?? I believe I have the right settings on with the cues set to every 1 mile. I don't understand what's happened!

I will try to post screenshots so you can see what I mean. Any help with would be appreciated as i like to know how long it has taken me to run each mile.

Hello @runnerroch, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, would it be possible for you to reply to me with screenshots of your mile splits so I can check this further? In the meantime, please try the following in the Fitbit app:

  • Force-close the Fitbit app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. If this doesn't seem to work:
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

Thanks for your understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply. Smiley Wink

I have managed to add the screenshot photos to my profile if you would be able to take a look at them and see if I have something set up wrong? Many thanks

Hello @runnerroch, thanks for taking the time to reply, I hope you're doing well. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have uploaded the screenshots to your profile, in the future if you'd like to add them to your posts, please follow these instructions

Judging by your screenshots, it seems everything is working fine, so in this case I would like to suggest you to update the OS on your phone and update the Fitbit app. Then, if you're still experiencing the same issue, please try the following:

  • Force-close the app by double tapping the home button on your phone and swiping up the app. If this doesn't seem to work:
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else. Smiley Wink

Hi there, yes I have tried all that, even uninstalled the app and re installed. I have figured out on the fitbit website how to flick between lap splits and mile splits but on the app there no option to do this, only view as distance exercise queues. It did not used to be like this, I used to be able to view my mile splits perfectly fine so I cannot understand why its no longer possible to do this. It is really frustrating as I use the app to track my runs and to see my timings mile for mile and I can no longer do this via the app. Please if you could help any further. Thanks
