Missing Haptic Touch Menu on iPhone 11 Pro

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got an iPhone 11 Pro and use the Fitbit app to track my water intake and exercise. When I use haptic touch on the Fitbit icon there is no options to log water or track exercise. If I restart my iPhone then the menu items come back but then go away after using it a few times. This did not happen on my iPhone 6s.

I’m using version 3.7 of the Fitbit app an am on iOS 13.1.2

Anyone else having this problem?

Hi @MikeyMcCo. Welcome to the Community.

Congrats on your new iPhone and thanks for the steps that you've tried prior posting. To help you with your inquiry, let me explain that before with the 3D touch you were able to bring a menu when long pressing the Fitbit icon to log some stats, however this isn't longer available with Haptic Touch function. Since this seems to have changed with the latest iOS versions, I'd recommend to contact Apple so you can receive more details about this change.

If you have another question, let me know.

I got this reply from support:

We'd like to let you know that the phone that you're using is just being tested with the Fitbit app. Meaning that there's a possibility that it won't work. It doesn't means that it won't allow you to download the app (or even work sometimes), it means that some of the features can suddenly stop working. Maybe that's the reason you're having issues logging your information.

I'm hoping that it will be fixed in a future update.

Hi @MikeyMcCo. I'm glad to see you here again, and I'm sorry for my delayed response.

Thanks for keeping me updated, as well for taking the time to contact our Support team. As you were told, the Fitbit app hasn't been fully optimized to work with your iPhone 11 Pro and some features, such as syncing or notifications may not always work. Now, regarding your inquiry about the menu prompted when long pressing the Fitbit icon, let me suggest to contact Apple so you can also receive more details about the 3D touch which was replaced by the Haptic Touch Menu after the latest iOS updates.

I'll be around if you need help with anything else.
