I just did a 28 minute walk. My fitbit recognized the active minutes, steps, etc...when I went to categorize it as walking, it logged that particular type of exercise, then completely zeroed out the active minutes. it also messed with the number of steps and recorded it as less....I'm mad, it now looks like I had zero active minutes today!

@SarahImes Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your active minutes. When you manually log an activity you are overriding what your device detected for that period of time so this is why you are missing the active minutes. Ideally you will either use the device's activity mode (if it has this option) or the auto-detection option known as SmartTrack.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks @AlvaroFitbit I think that makes sense...If I delete the exercise, will it revert back to the active minutes, or should I just leave it alone at this point and just not log my walk the next time and allow the device to auto-recognize?

@SarahImes thank you for your reply. You can delete the activity and will revert back to the previous data. I do suggest you let your device either auto recognize the activity or use the activity mode as mentioned before (if it has this option as I don't know which device you are using).
Keep me posted.
