Hi there,

I have the same problem with my iphone 5s, poor GPS alert blah blah blah everyday, sometimes I think it's acurate and sometimes its not, by that I mean I kind of know when I have walked a mile and when it's correct the voice cue tells me I have walked a mile and I'm around where I should be on my walk, when it's incorrect I get the voice cue way too early for a mile.

I'll keep stepping regardless but it would be helpful to find an answer.

Cheers

Hi @Mybroth,

I'd make sure that your iPhone's WiFi and cell data are both turned on.

I'd also make sure that Background App Refresh is turned on in your iOS settings, this allows GPS to continue tracking when your phone is locked. You can turn it on by opening your iOS settings > tapping general > tap Background App Refresh > find the Fitbit App and make sure that it's turned on.

Lastly, I'd make sure that your location services is turned on for the Fitbit App. This can be done by: opening your iOS settings > open Privacy > tap location services and make sure that it's turned on > find the Fitbit App and make sure that it's set to either "Always" or "While Using the App"

Hope this helps!

Hi Derek,

Thanks for the reply, yeah I have done all of the above and several times I check and make sure it is all working as it should be and still its the same message Poor GPS Alert, happens all the time now, and as I said previously sometimes it still works fine but today I was walking a mile in 10 minutes, great for stats but not true.
